Today, Leo XIV has appointed Monsignor Cesare Di Pietro as the new bishop of the Diocese of Locri-Gerace in Calabria. Born in Messina on March 12, 1964, he was ordained a priest in 1997. He held several institutional Church roles, including secretary to Archbishop Marra of Messina, official at the Congregation for Bishops, rector of the Messina seminary, and professor of Church History. In 2018, Pope Francis appointed him auxiliary bishop of Messina. At his first press conference, he supported “a Church open as Pope Francis wants it”. In May 2019, he attended the Muslim Iftar dinner during Ramadan at the Islamic Center in Messina, and afterwards declared: "Today, we lived a beautiful moment united by fraternity." In summer 2023, he attended the Muslim Eid al-Fitr celebrations at the mosque in Messina. He told the congregation that he has come to celebrate the great feast, which recalls the sacrifice of Abraham our father in faith: “Here I feel at home”. In June 2024, the Muslim …مزید

Pro-homosexual Archbishop Josef Grünwidl of Vienna - one of the many questionable appointments by Leo XIV - has confirmed that the controversial rector of St. Stephen's Cathedral, Rev Toni Faber, 64, will retire. The cathedral will receive new leadership in summer 2027. Society priest Faber has attended public dance festivals with a woman for years and has questioned celibacy. He has also supported same-sex blessings. In an interview with Austrian state radio ORF on Saturday, Archbishop Grünwidl claimed that his decision was mainly due to Rector Faber's long tenure. Archbishop Grünwidl noted that no one in the history of the Cathedral has held the post of rector for 30 years, describing Faber’s tenure as “a record”. However, the archbishop stressed that this does not mean that Rev. Faber will withdraw completely from pastoral work or leave St. Stephen’s Square. The Archbishop even praised Rev. Faber’s decades of service and emphasised their close personal relationship. “We were …مزید

"I am not married and I don't have children, but I am not alone. I also have a partner, a woman, who supports me in my role as a priest", Munich parish priest Rainer Maria Schießler told Katholisch.de on May 22. He added that he stands by his way of life, saying: "You don't just choose a partnership; it develops because people are sympathetic to one another, and ultimately, it's a great gift. For me, at any rate, it gives me tremendous strength and enormous support in my work and in my celibate [!] way of life." He continued: "As a priest, I have just as much a right to my private life." When asked if he had received enquiries from Munich Archbishop Reinhard Marx regarding his public comments about his "female partner", Rev Schießler replied: "No, there was never anything to hide or explain." Rev Schießler is notorious for blessing homosexuals (pictured) and causing liturgical scandals. #newsDbopvakddv
What do these scandals seek to achieve? To discredit the Church and assassinate souls. To cause more people to be lost—for when people witness the bad example set by their pastors, they use it to justify their own sins, and thus join in the rebellion against God.
In the Prophecy of Saint Francis of Assisi, we are told that scandals will increase during the usurpation of the Papacy; and evidently, there is no one in Rome to restore order—for they all belong to the same apostate, homosexual sect that rebels against God, promoting adultery, sodomy, divorce, the abolition of celibacy, female ordination, the worship of false gods from false religions, and so forth. In other words, the presence of those scandals that go unpunished confirms to us that there is no legitimate Pope—and much less a defender of the Faith.
Faith "makes room" for the Spirit Sunday 24 of May - Solemnity of Pentecost Dear brothers and sisters, on the occasion of the Solemnity of Pentecost we want to remind to ourselves that only faith can allow the Holy Spirit, who Jesus poured into our hearts through holy baptism, to be operative in our lives. In fact, in order to be able to operate in our hearts the Holy Spirit needs our complete, trusting abandonment to his action which, while freeing us from the diabolical illusion of being able to become god without, against or even in God’s place, makes us experience, at the same time , the beauty and unheard purity of Father's love which makes us, in Jesus, His children and brothers and sisters among us!
