(State your intention.) You who were so compassionate toward miserable sinners, regard not the unworthiness of those who pray to you, but the glory of God that it may once again be magnified by the granting of the particular request (State your intention) which I now ask for with persevering earnestness. The Catholic Women's Community of Germany (kfd) has called for abortions to be permitted in Catholic hospitals, adopting the position at its federal assembly in Mainz last weekend. Delegates approved by a large majority an eleven-page policy paper titled "Between the Protection of Life and Self-Determination: The kfd's Positions and Perspectives on Section 218 of the German Criminal Code." The document states that "pregnancy terminations must also be possible in Catholic hospitals," claiming that the current lack of access endangers the physical and mental health of mothers with unintended pregnancies. The paper also criticizes what it describes as "fundamentalist and anti-democratic" influences in the abortion debate and warns against uncritical support for pro-life groups such as the "March for Life" movement. The kfd, which says it has around 265,000 Catholic members , additionally advocates free contraceptives, more sexual education structures in dioceses, and health insurance …More
“Dear migrants, before I say any other word to you, I want to bow before your dignity. “You are not numbers or case files. “You are people — with a family and a home left behind, with dreams that no one has the right to scorn.” — Pope Leo XIV
Footage from Dublin shows protesters expressing solidarity with the people of Belfast as demonstrations continue to spread. For generations, politicians spoke of the divisions between North and South. Today, many are pointing to something different: People on both sides of the border finding common cause on immigration, national identity and the future of their countries. The old divisions may not be disappearing. But a new unity appears to be emerging.

Today, Pope Leo XIV travelled to Spain's Canary Islands, one of Europe's migration hotspots, to deliver a highly emotional and moralizing address. He met at the port with NGOs and organizations who de facto practice human trafficking. The pope spread their stories that they “had saved some 20,000 migrants”. Leo XIV dropped a wreath of flowers into the sea in tribute to the African migrants who had died while trying to enter the European Union. In what he called an "appeal to the conscience" of politicians, he said that "human dignity has no passport and does not lose its value when crossing a border." He warned “growing accustomed to the Mediterranean and the Atlantic becoming unmarked graves”. Leo XIV also said: "Dear migrants, before saying anything else to you, I want to bow before your dignity. You are not just numbers or files. You are people who have left behind families and homes. You have dreams that no one has the right to despise." He also challenged “the Church”: “Welcoming …More
The Revolution of Compassion Liturgy of June 14, 11th Sunday in Ordinary Time Dear brothers and sisters, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, which we celebrate on June 12 and 13, help us better understand the passage from the Gospel of Matthew that we hear on Sunday, June 14. "At that time," Matthew tells us, "Jesus, seeing the crowds, had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." Jesus' compassion is the antidote to the culture of indifference that afflicts the world. Mary's compassion is the same compassion of Jesus In fact, from the Heart of the Divine Risen One, ablaze with Love, the power of the Holy Spirit was "triggered" like a "chain reaction," initiating that process of transformation of the entire universe, which finds its crowning glory in the Church and its perfect Icon in Mary.

Almost 90 staff at the college, which is based on a campus of 17 acres, are to be made redundant.
THE ESTABLISHMENT'S BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THAT PEOPLE SAW THE VIDEO A Northern Ireland minister has blamed Elon Musk, Tommy Robinson and "bad actors" for helping drive public anger after the Belfast attack. But one remark may come back to haunt him: "I wish people didn't see that image." The public watched the footage. They saw the attack.
Leo XIV in the Canary Islands has received a genealogical family tree detailing his ancestors linked to the islands. The Pope looks absolutely delighted by such a great gift. The work reconstructs the history of two families, the González Vázquez and the Hernández Pérez, established in Santa Cruz de La Palma during the 16th and 17th centuries, linked to fishing and the La Asomada neighborhood. The family tree highlights the union of these two family branches through the marriage of Gaspar González and María Pérez, celebrated on January 5, 1614, at the parish of El Salvador in Santa Cruz de La Palma. From this marriage, Juan González Vázquez was born, who later emigrated to Cuba, from whom Pope Leo XIV is descended.
Oh, how adorable! They are so eagerly trying to delight him. Let him go to the sspx, they will delight him in a most proper way, with a few newly ordained very Catholic bishops. A glede te zanimljive genealogije, ... pitam se u koje onda pokoljenje spada njegova omiljena i već čuvena južnoamerička pratetka pachamama?
Thank you so much for posting the video's you do. I enjoy watching them very much. I see a lot I would love to post from yt, but they don't allow us to download video's anymore. Dogs are so much fun. But so are cats!
The War in Ukraine Has Now Gone On Longer Than World War I Parallels between the two wars abound, from the grinding nature of the fighting to the way new technologies reshaped warfare. By Constant Méheut Leer en español The war in Ukraine has often been compared to World War I for its brutal infantry assaults and heavy casualties. Yet the idea that it could, by any measure, surpass a conflict so long and bloody that French soldiers hoped it would be “the last of the last” once seemed unthinkable. That is just what happened on Thursday. The war in Ukraine — which reached 1,569 days, or more than four years and three months — has now outlasted World War I. When President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia sent his troops into Ukraine in February 2022, he believed the country would fall within days. After Ukraine pushed the Russians back and the conflict settled into a war of attrition, even many of those fighting could not imagine it would last this long. “I thought maybe two or three years …More
