Bishops who prayed over President Donald Trump in the Oval Office on October 22 are distancing themselves from the event, accusing the White House of exploiting their prayer for political purposes just twelve days before the midterm elections. The FSSPX’s Christ the King pilgrimage opened in Lourdes on October 24, despite Bishop Jean-Marc Micas’ ban on celebrations inside the sanctuary’s basilicas.
